Does the GMC accept an Egyptian Master's degree instead of PLAB?
No. Egyptian Master's degrees (MSc) are not on the GMC's list of acceptable postgraduate qualifications. Egyptian doctors use either PLAB or a UK royal college qualification such as MRCP(UK) or MRCS.
Is OET better than IELTS for Egyptian doctors?
Many find OET more comfortable because the reading, writing and speaking tasks are clinical rather than academic. IELTS is cheaper and more widely available. Choose based on which you are likely to pass first time.
How long does verification take for Egyptian universities?

Can I bring my family on a Health and Care Worker visa?
Yes. Dependant partners and children can be included, and Health and Care Worker visa holders and their dependants are exempt from the immigration health surcharge, though salary and accommodation evidence still applies.
