Examiners want a slick, systematic exam. Practice on family until you can do it in 4 minutes flat. Don't forget to mention you'd do an ECG.

Remember the sequence: inspection, palpation, percussion, auscultation. Say what you're looking for at each step so the examiner knows you understand.

Practice explaining findings to the patient in plain English. PLAB 2 tests communication as much as examination technique.

Don't forget to check for ankle oedema and JVP. They're easy to miss under pressure but examiners watch for them.
