Best UK cities for IMGs with young families?

Looking at Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham. Priorities: affordable housing, good schools, IMG community. Any first-hand experiences?

Manchester has been great for us — good schools, affordable rent compared to London, and a big IMG community. Commute to the city centre is easy.

Birmingham is underrated. Big enough for jobs, small enough for housing. My kids settled quickly and the NHS trust here has been supportive.

Avoid central London unless you have family support or a very good salary. The cost of living will erase most pay benefits.
